Sanford Behavioral Health is proud to announce that we are now in-network with Blue Care Network of Michigan (BCN) for addiction and co-occurring disorders treatment.

  • Blue Care Network of Michigan, is a nonprofit health maintenance organization, owned by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
  • Founded in 1998
  • BCN has more than 840,000 members
  • And BCN is Michigan’s largest HMO. With access in all 83 counties to nearly 6,300 primary care physicians, over 26,400 specialists and 132 Michigan hospitals (BCN fast facts)

Our commitment is to offer outstanding recovery services in Michigan. We are very pleased we can now offer these services to Blue Care Network members.

In-Network Benefits

According to the Milliman Research Report (August 13, 2020), 23% of adults 18 or over have a mental health condition or substance use disorder. Consequently, Sanford is now able to serve a wider range of patients in Michigan.

With the increase in substance use in the last year and a half, we have seen a need for more providers in our area to become in-network with HMO insurance products. Blue Care Network has 840,000 members. We feel fortunate we can now serve those members in need of substance use disorder services.
