Therapeutic Excursions…

Clear skies for our beach walk…

The women of Sanford House were a little surprised when our beach hike excursion was still on. There was a break in the gorgeous weather yesterday and it was overcast and threatened rain. But we loaded up the van (we do not melt) and were off to experience Michigan’s wonders and the rigorous climb over the dunes at Kirk Park, Grand Haven.

There is nothing like a brisk walk in the Michigan woods to trigger positive feelings – natural endorphins are released and we reduce stress, ward off anxiety, boost self esteem and improve our sleep!

178 steps down on this leg of the trail means 178 up, right?
