The Bissell Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell hosted a fund raiser in Grand Rapids, to benefit local, animal welfare organizations in West Michigan. Sanford House founder Rae Green and therapy dog Santino were there for the Blocktail Party. Rae says, “Santino had a great time playing with some new pals and we are so appreciative of the great work done by the Bissell Pet Foundation in support of our canine friends.”

The Bissell Pet Foundation awards grants to agencies committed to reducing animals in shelters and rescues through adoption, spay/neuter programs, microchipping and foster care. Since its inception in 2005, the Bissell Blocktail Party has raised more than $1.5 million to support animal causes.
