Kristin Reinink BA, CADC Admissions Counselor

Kristin is in charge of admissions at Sanford House. She begins by taking the applicant’s general information, conducting a pre screening, and setting up a time for a tour and an assessment.

Kristin believes that Sanford House is the full package. Having been in various treatment centers herself, she believes that the environment Sanford House is able to offer cultivates a sense of welcoming and encourages recovery.

A typical day at Sanford House begins early in the morning with a breakfast, meditation and a three-hour group therapy, all with a different theme. Another group activity follows in the afternoon, which correlates with the theme of the morning activity. The women are then taken outside to do an activity like yoga or Tai Chi. After dinner, women will attend an outside meeting, such as NA, AA or a variety of other group recovery meetings. Once they return home they will do gratitude’s with the onsite therapist.

The whole goal of Sanford House is to empower women and allow them to make a life for themselves.
