Claire Victoria Graves, LPC, CAADC, AcuDetox Specialist
Claire has worked in residential addiction treatment for the past four years. She also has extensive experience with group therapy and Art Therapy. Claire was first drawn to the Sanford House “holistic and progressive” programming. She was also encouraged by her long-time mentor to join the Sanford House team.
Claire “adores” working with individuals who are making positive change. Because she likes being in a position to instill hope. And to impart that recovery from substance use disorders is truly possible.
Claire received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University. She is also an auricular acupuncture specialist. In her free time, Claire plays competitive roller derby for the Grand Raggedy Roller Girls (truly proving her well-rounded versatility…). And she even uses roller derby as an example of perseverance.
Claire says, “When we provide a safe environment, an individual can find acceptance as their whole self. And they are validated in their struggles. They find the tools to manage ‘life on life’s terms’. This journey takes amazing courage…”
