Claire Victoria Graves, LPC, CAADC, AcuDetox Specialist
Claire has worked in residential addiction treatment for the past four years. She also has extensive experience with group therapy, Art Therapy and she is our AcuDetox specialist. Claire was drawn to the Sanford House “holistic and progressive” programming. She was also encouraged by her long-time mentor to join the Sanford House team.
Claire says she “adores” working with individuals who are making positive change. She likes being in a position to instill hope – that recovery from mental health issues and substance use disorders are truly possible.
Claire received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University. She is also an auricular acupuncture specialist for our residential clients. In her free time, Claire plays competitive roller derby for the Grand Raggedy Roller Girls (truly proving her well-rounded versatility…).
Claire says, “When we provide a safe environment, an individual can find acceptance as their whole self, be validated in their struggles and find the tools to manage ‘life on life’s terms’. This journey takes amazing courage…”
