Drew K. Martini, LMSW
Drew Martini has worked in residential treatment, outpatient treatment, case management and home-based counseling with children, adolescents, adults and families. She says she particularly likes residential treatment as it is “fast-paced, varied and always keeps me on my toes”. Drew also has experience in providing psychoeducation to clients – stressing the advantages of maintaining healthy sleep, diet, and exercise routines. She values the importance of providing a holistic approach to self-care.
Drew says she loves working at Sanford House. It affords her the opportunity to learn and grow. Not only from experiences with compassionate staff members, but also from Sanford House clients. Drew graduated from Grand Valley State University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She also has a master’s degree in Social Work.
When she is not at Sanford House, Drew likes to spend her free time reading, baking and getting snuggles from her puppy, Barkley.
Drew says, “Too many times people define themselves and others by their addiction. I hope to help those who walk through the door of Sanford House see the person behind their mask. We are all humans, we all struggle. But most importantly, we all deserve care, compassion, and understanding.”
