Gursharn S. Dosanjh, MD
Dr. Gursharn S. Dosanjh, a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, has been in private practice in Internal Medicine for over 30 years. He has been treating opioid dependency in his Grand Rapids, Michigan practice for more than 10 years. With Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT), Dr. Dosanjh saw his patient’s lives turning around. He also saw how the lives of their families were impacted. This galvanized him to expand and help more people with substance use disorders.
Dr. Dosanjh served as Medical Consultant to Forest View Psychiatric Hospital. When a colleague suggested he contact Sanford House, he made the call. As Sanford Medical Director, Dr. Dosanjh is able to combine his years in Internal Medicine with his experience and interest in psychiatric illnesses.
In his limited free time, Dr. Dosanjh likes to spend time with his grand children. He also enjoys golfing with friends (when the weather cooperates).
Dr. Dosanjh says simply, ” I help to make lives whole again.”
