Jenny Selent, MA, LMFT

Jenny Selent is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master of Science degree from Western Michigan University. Jenny lived and worked in Utah and North Carolina over the past 13 years. But, she is thrilled to be back in her home state. She says it brings her closer to family and allows her to advance mental health treatment in Michigan.
Since 2007, Jenny has been doing clinical work and developing residential treatment programs for youth with co-occurring disorders. Most recently as Executive Clinical Director at Solstice East RTC. She is drawn toward healing and the development of systems. This includes academic, mental health, professional, and family systems. She works to improve the overall health, fulfillment, and effectiveness of these systems and the individuals within them.
Jenny has specific training in EMDR (Eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing), Brainspotting, and Trauma-focused Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. She also has a decade of experience in developing therapeutic programs for co-occurring disorders: find her published articles for Sanford HERE.
Jenny has three “incredible” children. And her family enjoys big outdoor adventure. You can find them biking, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, etc. They are also hobby farmers.
