Lynnel Brewster, RN, LPC, LLMFT, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, AcuDetox Specialist
Lynnel Brewster has been working in the health field for the past 24 years. She is a registered nurse as well as a licensed professional counselor. Lynnel’s years of experience include working in hospital and home settings, residential addiction treatment centers, and private practice.
Lynnel received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Geneva College in Pennsylvania. She also has her limited license in marriage and family therapy. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, as well as an Auricular Detoxification Acupuncture Specialist. Lynnel has years of experience counseling groups, families and individuals who are suffering with the effects of substance use disorders. Currently she facilitates group and individual therapy at Sanford House at Cherry Street for Women.
In her free time, Lynnel loves to read, cook and spend time with family, especially with her grandchildren.
Lynnel says, “I consider working at Sanford House with the other gifted therapists and staff an honor and privilege. To have the opportunity to encourage and bring hope to women and their families early in the recovery process is extremely rewarding. My desire daily is to provide a safe place for the women and their families to grow in their recovery and healing.”
