Rebecca Suggitt, LMSW, CAADC
Clinical Therapist, Sanford Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders
Rebecca Suggitt received her master’s degree from Grand Valley State University. She has been a therapist for over twenty years and worked at Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders (now Sanford CTED) for seven years. Previously, she worked for Forest View Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan in their eating disorder program.
Rebecca is a certified addictions counselor working with individuals with co-occurring disorders and trained in EMDR. She has worked in a substance use disorder treatment center, facilitating intensive outpatient (IOP) groups and inpatient groups. She also has experience working with young children and adopted children who have been in the foster care system.
Rebecca is married and has four children. In her free time, she helps out at her church youth group. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with the family.
Rebecca says, “I am excited for this new partnership with Sanford Behavioral Health to bring more quality eating disorder treatment resources to the community.
