House Manager - Sanford House at Cherry Street
Samantha (Sam) Domine is a good example of what happens when you “keep your eyes on the prize”. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in entrepreneurship, Sam started at Sanford as a part-time Residential Supervisor (RSS).
Sam is a person in recovery, and she has always wanted to give back what was given to her. She was promoted to a full-time RSS in short order, and with hard work and a big heart, Sam was promoted to House Manager, Sanford House at Cherry Street for Women. Sam says. “Helping others just feels right in the soul.” She tries to be a solid example of recovery by sharing rigorous honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness. And Sam enjoys participating in day-to-day operations and interaction at the women’s house. She is often the first person a patient sees as they enter a Sanford facility. Everyone has a different story and background; and Sam loves watching and working toward turning their addiction story into their recovery story.
Sam lives an uncomplicated, family-oriented life (this includes her dogs) and she is in her element in the sunshine with a good book.
Sam Domine says, “It is very brave when someone struggling with a substance use disorder is ready to take the next step and accept treatment. The Sanford team is an exceptional group of professionals who are ready to help begin the recovery journey.”
