Shelby Baker is passionate about working with both teens and adults struggling with various types of eating disorders and their co-occurring mental health challenges. Her goal is to walk with people as they find food freedom and finally make peace with their body and soul. She prefers a strengths based approach and strives for clients of all races, genders, and sexual orientations to feel accepted and welcome.
Shelby graduated summa cum laude from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work and a child welfare certificate. She received a master’s degree in social work and completed her clinical field work in eating disorder treatment from Spring Arbor University. She also has experience in serving children and families in the field of child welfare. In her free time Shelby enjoys listening to podcasts, yoga, knitting, hiking, and spending time with her kitties.
