Program Director Phil Tower WOOD Radio with Sanford’s Rae Green on Talk of the Town

Sanford Addiction Treatment Centers Founder, Rae Green, talks to Phil Tower of Wood Radio about the “misconceptions” of addiction and addiction treatment. Rae also talks about Sanford’s approach to Real Life Recovery and how family plays a big role in long-term positive outcomes.

Phil Tower: Talk about Sanford – why are you different and unique?

Sanford is different because of its setting – its welcoming, validating setting – its small size, we have 4 clients per counselor. And also for the individualized care that we give. We look at someone’s background, their family situation and individualize their treatment. But we also include the family. And we are learning so much now about how this is a family disease. And people who live with someone who’s struggling with a substance use disorder have as many challenges and barriers to getting well as the person with the disease. Rae Green, JD, LPC, CAADC
